Northern Noise presents a fabulous line up of artists - Loom/Bad Grammar/I See Angels/Autobahn - Thursday 19th December at The Castle Hotel in Manchester - it's Loom's Season's Beatings tour and our final show of the year...
We had fun opening for indie legend Dean Wareham (photographed below) at The Ruby Lounge in early December. It was great to meet the man himself, he's a class act and the show was excellent. Read Louder Than War's live review penned by Cath Aubergine - featuring some nice words about us, "They've got cracking tunes - the sort of rousing rallying calls Arcade Fire used to do before they mutated into a concept band."
In other news... Front-man Paul Baird's writing for new music site TRU LUV was referenced by The Guardian and published in their New Band Of The Day feature in Mid-December. The newspaper quoted Paul's words, "Get ready to bust some moves in front of the mirror," as 'the buzz' for Molly Beanland and linked to his original blog post about Molly's song Night Dreams in their feature.
